Zaid Walid Lafi
Computer Engineering graduate in Bahrain building AI automations, full-stack products, security workflows, and educational tools that make messy work deterministic.
> Hidd, Bahrain / Arabic native / English fluent
interests : AI-driven systems, rapid prototyping, practical tooling, web security, building computers, and clear interfaces.
work
- CORAI / AI Developer Intern / Jan 2026 - Mar 2026 : built and deployed multi-channel chatbot and automation solutions for WhatsApp, Instagram, and web live chat using GoHighLevel and n8n, supporting Diyar and Urbaser.
- Talaat / Co-Founder & Product Developer / Mar 2025 - May 2026 : built a mobile and web MVP for Bahraini tourism experiences, restaurants, and local merchants using React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and React Native.
projects
- Overlords / in-game skin viewer app : uses public APIs to view in-game skins and shop rotation data.
- Mahaly : minimal local discovery app for Bahraini food businesses, helping customers find locations, menus, items, and offerings without friction.
- Windows automation AIO tool : Python automation app that triggers deterministic actions from screen-photo detections, paired with an image viewer for screenshots, region selection, and screen-relative coordinates.
- Smart glasses with AI : ESP32/OV2640 wearable AI prototype using OpenAI vision.
- RISC-V 32-bit pipelined processor : designed and verified a 5-stage VHDL architecture.
security workflow lab
I am a beginner bug bounty hunter and security learner. It is a serious side interest where I practice web testing, keep notes, build evidence workflows, and keep improving through hands-on repetition.
Public-safe highlights : web security testing practice, recon and validation checklists, report/evidence workflows, and RCE discoveries in TUI-style tools and interfaces without naming private systems or sensitive details.
automation and education tools
Teacher workflow automation : built a deterministic school communication tool that processed Excel sheets and documents, mapped students to year/class groups, selected the right year-specific template, and generated roughly 400-500 individualized parent emails.
The workflow also used performance data to surface skill-improvement guidance for each student, so the email was not only addressed correctly but useful for development. I also build educational tools and websites that support student development and reduce repetitive teacher workflow.
education
- B.Sc. Computer Engineering : University of Bahrain, College of IT, Dec 2025.
- Security courses : Python and ethical hacking, penetration testing, bug bounty hunting, and web security testing.
